Two Must Have Products for Breastfeeding and Pumping - Simple Wishes Handsfree Pumping Bra and Undercover Mama Nursing Tank

When it comes to breastfeeding and pumping I love discovering new products, reviewing the products I love, and sharing them with my readers. The Simple Wishes Handsfree Pumping Bra and the Undercover Mama Nursing Tank are two of my favorite nursing products I have been using for years. I recommend them to all my friends and in my many mom groups. When I got the chance to try them out again and receive new items for my new baby I went for it. Read on for my updated, new and improved review of these two breastfeeding and pumping essentials.

First up is the Simple Wishes Handsfree Pumping Bra

Feel free to check out my previous review from almost two years ago. Everything in this review still applies. This pumping bra was one of the first items I discussed on my blog because I am such a fan.

Simple Wishes is a hands free pumping bra that holds your breast pump flanges while pumping. This is a must have item if you are a regular pumper. I cannot imagine pumping and holding those flanges the whole time. The bra is soft, made out of cotton and spandex, and highly adjustable. The first time I purchased it I did find the sizing confusing because it had such a range. I realize now that is because it is so adjustable. You can review the sizing chart here. The bra also comes with a zip in center section to expand it, a large area in the back adjustable by velcro, and straps that can be attached. This makes the bra easy to adjust as your size changes.

I originally bought this bra after my first baby was born in 2012 and I was still working full time and pumping. It has held up wonderfully through two babies and I was excited to get a new one and see if anything had changed. It is actually extremely similar and if anything changed I cannot tell. The bra is still strong and supportive and makes hands free pumping easy. I have used this with an Ameda Purely Yours breast pump and more recently a Spectra S2 pump and it works well with both. I believe this is the best hands free pumping bra that can be found.

Undercover Mama Nursing Tank

Another product I love and have reviewed previously is the nursing tank from Undercover Mama. I am not a big fan of nursing tanks with built in bras. I have a few I like for around the house but when I am out I prefer to wear a regular nursing bra. I discovered the Undercover Mama Nursing Tank when I was getting ready to take a flight with my first baby. I was looking for a way to comfortably nurse on an airplane without needing several layers that would leave me overheated. While I am all about nursing wherever and whenever now, I was much more nervous back then and was hoping to find a way to nurse on airplane without anyone noticing. I bought the Undercover Mama nursing tank and have never looked back. It worked great on that trip and has worked well for many outfits since then.

So, how does it work? It comes with two attachments to allow you attach the strapless tank to your bra. It can be a nursing bra or a regular bra. This allows you to have a tank covering your stomach and back while nursing but does not add an extra set of straps. You can wear a shirt to pull up and pull the tank down, wear a button down shirt over it, or come up with your own way to wear it.

The Undercover Mama tank is made out of cotton and spandex and helps make any shirt into a nursing shirt. The tank top is soft, stretchy, long, machine washable, and comfortable. I recommend these all the time when moms wonder what to wear to make nursing in public easy. I have this tank in black, white, and grey since I am fan of matching everything I wear.
