When we are pregnant and breastfeeding it can be hard to find stylish, fashionable and comfortable maternity and nursing bras and lounge wear. I have definitely been through my share of products. While I have tried tons of nursing bras, very few are particularly stylish. I have some favorites but they definitely more utilitarian in looks and not something I want to show off.
I am excited to come across a company that makes stylish and beautiful maternity and nursing bras as well as lounge wear. When I got the opportunity to give them a try I jumped on it. You! Lingerie was kind enough to send me a nursing bra and a maternity/nursing pajamas set to try out.
First a little about You! Lingerie
You! Lingerie was founded by a first time mom who could not find beautiful nursing lingerie. I love companies started by moms because they obviously know what we want and need!
You! Lingerie describes its nursing bras and sleep wear as sexy, colorful and luxurious while also providing great support and function to pregnant and nursing mothers. Their mission is to make breastfeeding and expectant moms feel confident and beautiful.
I would say they have nailed it because all of their products are fashionable and functional.
The nursing bra
I tried the Penny Maternity and Nursing bra. This bra comes in a soft blue color with nude lace and hot pink on the inside. The inside is 100% cotton so it is completely comfortable. This is definitely the prettiest and most stylish nursing bra I have ever worn. It is also supportive. In my size - E and up it has a soft underwire, the smaller sizes do not have wire. I love that their bras go up high in sizes to cover full figure nursing moms as well.
I need a lot of support and this bra delivers it. The straps are comfortable and supportive as well. I did not wear this for hours like I usually would since I am not nursing frequently now, but once my 3rd baby is here I plan to put it to heavy use and will update my review if needed.
I love the clip down straps for breastfeeding. They are easy to use one handed and there are no large pieces of fabric across the top of the breast which I hate.
The sleep wear
I received the Rosette Nursing and Maternity PJ set. The top is red cotton and has a built in shelf bra. It features the words "Super Mom" "Super Tired" on it. I love it! This describes most moms I know ha.
I have been wearing these pajamas a lot and they are definitely comfortable for lounging and sleeping. They are also super cute. The built in shelf bra is the perfect amount of support for an item you will sleep in. The pants come in a leopard print pattern and have adjustable drawstrings at the ankle so the height can be adjusted. There is also a drawstring at the waist.
These PJs are made out of a soft cotton and spandex mix and have just the right amount of stretch. The clips on the top are easy to operate one handed which is important to me.
I am wearing these almost halfway through my pregnancy so they will work for maternity and nursing. I have mentioned in previous posts how much I love nursing pajamas. I find them to be a must have. While they work throughout pregnancy, they are a wonderful once baby is here and we are nursing around the clock. It's great to have stylish and comfortable options for around the house when you are not ready to throw on an outfit but still want to look and feel good. I have worn many of my nursing pajamas through both of my pregnancies and beyond.
Conclusion
After my experience with these items I can definitely recommend any pregnant or nursing mother check out You! Lingerie. I can't believe I had not heard of them sooner. They have a large range of stylish bras and panties. The sleep wear is also gorgeous and so colorful and comfortable. I would love to try out one of their maternity and nursing chemises, and will probably purchase more of their products before my third baby arrives this spring!
