Figure 8 Maternity, Fashionable Maternity and Nursing and Beyond

Sometime between my first baby and my second baby I discovered an amazing online maternity and nursing store called Figure 8 Maternity. I couldn't believe what I stumbled on and wondered how I had not heard of it before. They have plenty of fashionable maternity and nursing clothes, sleepwear, undergarments and accessories. Even items for babies as well. I have ordered several nursing pieces from them and I have never been disappointed. This includes nursing tops and a maternity and nursing swimsuit.

My favorite items have to be the nursing tops and dresses. They are cleverly designed so you can still wear a higher neckline and breastfeed. No need to tug down your shirt (which is what I do the rest of the time). Most of them have panels for nursing similar to this shirt below. It's easy to be discreet and there is not needing to pull the neckline down is nice.

They carry several brands of nursing bras including Bravado which makes some of my favorite nursing bras.

Recently Figure 8 Maternity reached out to offer me something new to try. I was sent this dress, Jackie Turtle Neck Long Sleeve Nursing Dress.

I have to admit it is not my usual style with a high almost turtleneck neckline, but I like it! Since it's pretty chilly already, I added leggings and a scarf. I have a large chest and do not normally pick high necklines but I was happy it worked well even with my larger chest. So, even if you are full busted do not let that deter you from these types of designs. The dress is made out of 95% organic cotton with 5% spandex.

The top lifts up to reveal an opening for nursing. So clever, you would never suspect you could breastfeed in this from looking at it. It works for maternity and nursing. I am almost halfway through my pregnancy here. It's my 3rd baby so I feel huge already! I am sure this dress will fit even better once my stomach is gone. My baby is due in May but I breastfeed for a long time; I am sure I can use it next fall and winter for nursing as well.

Nursing Pads

They carry nursing pads as well. I was sent these Lacy Lucy pads and they look and feel as nice as any other disposable pad I have used. I will test these out further once my newborn is here in May!
