Back when I had my first baby, my OB GYN told me that one of the most important things I could do to prepare for her birth was to take a breastfeeding class. I hadn't thought much about breastfeeding at all while pregnant. I knew it was encouraged to breastfeed but that is all I knew. I decided I would give it a shot with no idea what was coming.
Since she recommended taking a class, I did a search and found one at the hospital where I was giving birth. At the time I did not know of any online breastfeeding classes.
The class I took was great and had a big influence on my success breastfeeding. I now tell every expecting mom I know to take a breastfeeding class ahead of time.
While the in class experience was great for me, having an online class would have been so convenient for learning at my own pace and referencing afterwards.
Once my baby was born I had a lot of new questions and having an online resource to refer back to would have been a great help.
Well recently I discovered an online breastfeeding class; The Ultimate Breastfeeding Class from Milkology.
This class will have you breastfeeding your baby with complete confidence and empower you to successfully reach your lactation goals.
I already know that taking a breastfeeding class while pregnant is crucial to success. But I did not know if this class, and taking a class online, would provide as good of an experience. So I took the class to find out.
I can say 100% this class will fully prepare you to breastfeed and teach what you to except. There are a few things I especially love about this class.
For one it explains the benefits of breastfeeding for baby but also for the mom. I don't think many women realize how beneficial breastfeeding is for ourselves too.
I know when I was preparing to breastfeed I thought it was a sacrifice or physical commitment that might hinder my lifestyle. When you look at the positives of breastfeeding you will find it's actually pretty great for mom too. The class also points out the benefits of breastfeeding for the world around us.
The class covers everything from pregnancy to birth, breastfeeding, and beyond. I believe that everything I learned in my hospital class was covered here.
There are added bonuses, coupons, and breastfeeding resources.
The class is affordable. Seriously, it's cheap. You could take a class in person or at the hospital and use this as a back up to have resources available to you. It also has a money back guarantee.
I wish something like this was around when I was pregnant. Being able to learn all about breastfeeding at your own pace and then having access to it even after your baby is born is a great idea.
The class is brought to you by a certified lactation educator and mom of three. A little more about Stacey from the class website:
I'M A CERTIFIED LACTATION EDUCATOR (CLE) AND HAVE MY MASTERS IN TEACHING (MAT). I'VE BREASTFED AND PUMPED FOR ALL 3 OF MY KIDS (INCLUDING TWINS!) INTO TODDLERHOOD.
I highly recommend The Ultimate Breastfeeding Class from Milkology.

Milkology also offers a pumping class for moms who may be going back to work and will need to pump. I learned everything I needed to about pumping during my in hospital breastfeeding class (so basically not much).
I ended up pumping much more than I expected because my first baby was in the NICU after birth, and I needed to pump to bring my milk supply in. I wasn't expecting to pump right away and had no clue what I was doing.
The Ultimate Back to Work Pumping Class.
Learn how to pump like a pro, make plenty of milk, and successfully transition back to work.
I took this class too and it is also full of information and bonuses for pumping moms. If you are planning to pump or go back to work and will need to pump I recommend this class too.
Between the two classes you will be more than prepared for anything breastfeeding and pumping throws your way.
You can find more information about the classes and lots of other breastfeeding support at the Milkology website.
Please check it out and let me know if you have any questions at all!
