hi Jen, My son is 14 months and still nurses like crazy. I have always felt pressured from friends to stop breastfeeding him now but after reading your info I feel alot better about it. Somedays we struggle with solids so I feel better knowing he can still get what he needs from me, especially with COVID around I am trying to keep his immune system boosted. Thank you.

Hello! So my son is 6 months old, and I've recently noticed some spotting along with mild cramps. I'm honestly not sure if I've had AF back yet, as in January and February I had a few days where I was spotting but after that I've had nothing. He is still breastfed the majority of the time, but he is on solid foods as well, for about a month now. I'm leery to take a test quite yet because with my son it didn't show a positive until I was 3 months along (blood test included). Besides that, I suppose I'd only be on day 10 or 11 since our possible accident so I'm not sure. What are your thoughts?

Hi, it sounds like between the spotting and possible AF back in Jan and your son is eating solids too that you could be fertile again. It's hard to know for sure. I would say take a test maybe a couple of weeks after what would be your accident. Then if it's negative try again in a couple of weeks. Good luck!

Hi Jen! I just have a question. I am still breastfeeding my 16 month old. I have not had a period yet, although a couple weeks ago I thought I was getting my flow but it turned out to be just a brownish pink discharge. Lasted two days. Now, three weeks later I am having symptoms of pregnancy, I’ve tested and it comes out negative. Do you think it’s just my hormones supplying my “pregnancy” symptoms. It would only be two weeks pregnant if I am. Too early to know?

Hi, it could be either really hard to tell without a regular period return. Testing is the only way to know for sure. Good luck!

Hi Courtney,
I think if you have not gotten your period yet then the spotting is most likely your period returning. It is possible to get pregnant before it returns but not too common. I would wait and see if the spotting turns into anything more. If it doesn't and you don't get a period you may want to take a test to be sure. Good luck!
