Hi, I am Jen Brenan, mom to three small children. I am a mom, blogger, IT specialist and Northern Virginia native. My blog was started as a way to connect with breastfeeding parents and offer mother to mother support, parenting tips, and product reviews.
It is becoming so much more and all things parenting can be found here. Most of my writing is accomplished in between nap times and from my phone.
All three of my children have been breastfed. I have been pregnant or breastfeeding non stop since June 2011. I was breastfeeding my first when I got pregnant with my second, and breastfeeding my second when I got pregnant with my third. He continued to breastfeed the entire pregnancy and I went on to tandem breastfeed my second and third babies at the same time.
Before I breastfed my first baby I had no idea how much I would love it, and how passionate about it I would become. It really opened up another dimension in me I didn’t know existed.
Of course it hasn’t always been easy. From the early marathon cluster feeding sessions, to weaning my daughter and then starting almost immediately again with a newborn, it’s been an adventure full of ups and downs.
I am here to give support and breastfeeding tips from someone who has just been through it, and is still going through it. I love checking out new products to help in the parenting journey and you will find many product reviews here as well.
I have a B.S. in Information Technology and before I started my blog I spent many years in IT. I love the technical side of blogging as well and may write about that once in awhile*.
*Update – I have started a technical blog as well called Mom Tech Blog. Check it out for tech reviews and other topics.
Please get in touch and ask me any and all questions you may have as you check out my site. 🙂
